Ford was the first of America's Big Three automakers to launch an electric pickup, but Chevrolet has also announced its Lightning rival.

When it comes to range, the Silverado EV beats the F-150 Lightning with an impressive range of up to 450 miles compared to the Lightning's 320 miles.
In terms of towing capacity, both trucks are evenly matched with a maximum towing capacity of 10,000 pounds when properly equipped.
The Silverado EV's practical bed, with a longer length and the innovative Multi-Flex Midgate, gives it an edge over the F-150 Lightning in terms of versatility and accommodating long items.
